Human Trafficking Rescue

Human trafficking and modern-day slavery is an evil force that is growing. Innocent children, women, and men are forced to endure unspeakable conditions and inhumane treatment. Small children and teens throughout the world are having their innocence stolen for the sake of twisted, sexual gratification. Other children, women, and men are forced to work in awful conditions for little or no pay. Traffickers, pimps, and task masters claim 'ownership' of other people as their 'property'. So what are we going to do about it?

The purpose of this site is to promote awareness and challenge individuals to act on behalf of the victims of trafficking and slavery. The victims have been robbed of their voice. It is my hope that you will join your voice with mine to speak and act on their behalf... To tell people the facts of human trafficking and how we can collectively fight against it.

Thankfully there are some wonderful organizations that are already in existence:
*Some work to prevent human trafficking and slavery.
*Some work to rescue the victims that are in bondage.
*Some work to help survivors with aftercare (including counseling, education, income sustainability, and support).
*Others work in more than one avenue mentioned above.

I would like to pool together the existing information, resources, and connections to organizations; I want to do this so that it will be easier for you to learn and have ample opportunity to connect and take action. I want this site to be an ongoing reference tool for you. Please consider signing up for the monthly Rescue ezine and adding this site to your Favorites.

In addition, I would like for you to use this site to explore different ways that you can use your creativity and talents to promote awareness and action. Check out Rescue Art for Awareness and Action to get ideas. Then you can email me your ideas, art, photos, songs, poems, etc, and I will post some of what I receive on this site. You have the power to make a positive impact on the world. Please do not allow complacency, a busy schedule, or anything else to prevent you from joining the efforts of Human Trafficking Rescue.
